Money and payouts

What does it cost? +

One flat monthly fee: S$59/month. The first 10 coaches lock in the founding rate of S$39/month for their first 12 months. No joining fee, no booking fee, and your first 33 days are free. Your card is required at signup but not charged until day 33. Cancel any time before then and you pay nothing at all.

Do you take a cut of my sessions? +

No. Intervia takes 0% commission, no booking fee, ever. You are paid your full rate per completed session. The only deduction is Stripe’s standard card processing fee, charged by Stripe, our payment partner. We never hold or process your money.

When do I get paid? +

Session by session. Each session’s fee is released to your Stripe account 48 hours after that session ends. There is no monthly payout cycle and no waiting on an invoice. Your client pays when they book, the money is held with Stripe, and it moves to you as you deliver.

Getting started

Do I need my own clients? +

No. Bring your existing clients over and they book through your page like everyone else, or start from zero: every listed coach appears in the Intervia directory, where members browse by sport, area and budget.

Which sports are supported? +

Every sport. Tennis, swimming, badminton, martial arts, strength, football, dance and anything else you coach one to one.

How long does verification take? +

Within 3 working days, usually faster. Your dashboard opens straight away, so you can set up your services, availability and payout details while you wait. Your public profile goes live once verification passes.

Do I need a UEN or a registered business? +

No. If you coach under your own full name as it appears on your NRIC, you are exempt from registering a business with ACRA and there is nothing to register. If you use a trading name, for example a studio or brand name, then ACRA requires you to register it as a sole proprietorship and you will have a UEN. Either way you can join Intervia. Add your UEN if you have one, leave it blank if you do not. Your own taxes remain your responsibility either way.

Your rules, your policies

Can I set my own rates and policies? +

Yes. You set your session rates, your package prices, your cancellation notice, your no show window and how many free sessions a client gets. Whatever you set is shown to the client before they pay and locked into their agreement at that moment, so it cannot be argued about later. The only limit is that a cancellation notice cannot exceed 72 hours.

What if a client cancels late or doesn’t show up? +

You still get paid for it. A late cancellation or a no show uses one of that client’s session credits, exactly as if the session had happened, based on the notice window you set. You can always waive it if you want to, but the default protects your time.

What if a client queries a session? +

They raise it with us within 48 hours of the session, and that session’s payment holds while we look at it. You get two working days to give your side, and the platform already holds the booking, the agreed terms and the session log, so you are not arguing from memory. If the two of you cannot settle it, Intervia decides on the file.

Your account

Can I cancel anytime? +

Yes, it is monthly with no lock in. One thing to know: if you leave while clients still have unused sessions on a package, those unused sessions are refunded to them at the package rate they paid. Finish or settle your active packages before you go and there is nothing to sort out.

Referring other coaches earns you free months. See the referral programme.

Your money

Is my money protected? +

Yes. You pay at booking, but the money is held by Stripe, a regulated payment provider, not by your coach and not by Intervia. Your coach receives it session by session, 48 hours after each one happens, so your coach never holds your full package upfront. If something goes wrong, Intervia steps in to resolve it.

What does it cost me as a member? +

Nothing to browse or book. You only pay the coach’s own per session rate, shown up front on their profile. No membership, no hidden platform fees.

If my coach is paid session by session, why do I pay for a package upfront? +

You don’t have to. You can book single sessions and pay for them one at a time, as often as you like. The difference is price. Single sessions are full price. A package gets you a lower rate per session, because committing to a block is worth something to your coach. Either way the money is held with Stripe and released only as each session happens, so choosing a package never means handing a lump sum to your coach on day one.

Booking a session

How do I book a coach? +

Browse coaches by sport, location and price, pick an open slot from their live calendar, and pay in the app. You get instant confirmation, no back and forth on WhatsApp.

Where do sessions take place? +

At the coach’s own location, shown on their profile, whether that’s their court, studio, pool or gym. Each listing tells you exactly where you’ll train and what to expect before you book.

Who you are booking

Are the coaches screened? +

Every coach submits their coaching credentials and identity documents, and we check them by hand before they can be listed, within 3 working days. We confirm the credential looks genuine and current and that the legal name and photo match the ID. A coach who submits no credential simply has none shown on their profile, so what you see on a profile is what we checked. Each coach stays responsible for their own credentials and conduct. Every coach also confirms a safety declaration covering their conduct and, where relevant, coaching of under 18s. Coaches who have completed child safety training and had it verified carry a Child Safety Trained badge.

Your account

Can I cancel anytime? +

Members have no commitment at all; you book only when you want to train. Coaches are on a simple monthly plan with no long lock in.
